Lacson agrees with Agot on Duterte: ‘Kung gusto mo magutom, magutom ka mag-isa’

Senator Panfilo Lacson on Wednesday said he agrees with all the sentiments expressed by actress Agot Isidro against President Rodrigo Duterte.

“Sa isang banda si Agot Isidro may sense sinasabi; kung gusto mo magutom, magutom ka mag-isa 'wag mo kami idamay,” Lacson told reporters.

“Kung sumama ang ekonomiya, madadamay lahat nang karamihan ng Pilipino na magugutom,” the senator added.

Lacson's statement pertained to then Facebook post of Ms. Isidro on October 7-- Duterte criticized Duterte for UN, EU and US to withraw all aides for the country amid criticism on his war against drugs.

“Unang-una, walang umaaway sa iyo. As a matter of fact, ikaw ang nang-aaway. Pangalawa, yung bansa kung saan ka inuluklok ng 16 million out of 100+ million people ay Third World,” Isidro wrote on Facebook.

“Kung makapagsalita ka parang superpower and Pilipinas eh. At excuse me, ayaw namin magutom. Mag-isa ka na lang. 'Wag kang mandamay. Hindi na nga nakakain ang nakararami, gugutumin mo pa lalo. Pangatlo, may kilala along psychiatrist. Patingin ka. Hindi ka bipolar. You are a psychopath,” she added.

Senator Lacson said Duterte’s pronouncements threatening to cut ties with the US does not help the Philippines.

“Sinabi na puputulin bilateral ties or joint exercises then babawiin, na di talaga ganoon ibig sabihin, walang planong i-abrogate ang MDT. Anong maitutulong noon?” Lacson said.
