Enormous things are coming to Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital, and it sounds like some could cause real changes.
"Grey's Anatomy" star Kevin McKidd recently opened up to Variety about the forthcoming midseason finale, and he teased an "explosive" episode that will show the hospital "in a gap." What's to come "shifts the game" for different characters, including possibly his own, Owen.
The latest Gray Sloan drama will stem from different sources. For one, there will be a massive therapeutic disaster that leaves the doctors overpowered by the quantity of patients requiring care. As the staff tries to adapt, it will also turn out that Dr. Eliza Minnick (Marika Dominczyk) has been gotten as a possible trade for Richard (James Pickens Jr.).
"A lot of the doctors start to take sides," McKidd tells Variety. "The hospital in general is in a divide -- kind of like this country right now."
One person not included in that specific turmoil, however, is Owen because he as of now has "so much show in his personal life." He as of late discovered that his significant other, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone), doesn't need kids, which is the thing that McKidd calls "a major issue situation." We as of now saw the same issue destroy his previous marriage to Cristina (Sandra Oh).
On top of all that, it still looks like Alex (Justin Chambers) could go to imprison. No big surprise McKidd describes the episode as "emotional" and "exceptionally intense." Expect a lot of cliffhangers to keep you obsessing about the destiny of your most loved characters amid the break.
