More than 2,400 Americans died in the assault by Japan on Pearl Harbor.
The visit, declared not long ago, takes after Obama's setting out prior this year to Hiroshima, the Japanese city where the U.S. dropped an atomic bomb in 1945 amid the last phase of World War II.
